Pioneering Strict Manufacturing Standards
In 2001, Ada Li entered the cosmetics industry — coordinating outsourced OEM manufacturing on behalf of her sister's skincare brand. Working closely with contract factories, she developed deep, hands-on expertise in production workflows, formulation requirements, and quality control — laying the foundational knowledge that would eventually drive her to build a factory of her own.
Seizing Control of Our Manufacturing Destiny
In 2005, Ada Li co-founded Guangzhou Yuai Cosmetics Co., Ltée. (initially named Guangzhou Sephora Cosmetics), building a production team from scratch and assuming full operational control. What began as her sister's brand became the proving ground for a strict manufacturing philosophy — one that would define every batch produced for the next two decades.
Evolving to Engineer Performance Skincare
By 2012, the facility had grown from 3 à 6 production buildings, incubating its flagship brand to #4 and #6 rankings in China's CS retail channel. In 2020, Ada Li broke new technological ground by launching a dedicated lyophilized powder production line — mastering ultra-low temperature freeze-drying to pioneer a new category of performance skincare.
Building a Global Biotechnology Enterprise
On May 31, 2023, after 22 years of accumulated manufacturing mastery, Ada Li founded Gorgeous Light Trading (Canton) Co., Ltée. — operating under the Helement Skincare brand as a dedicated cosmetic OEM/ODM enterprise. Within the first year, Helement deployed comprehensive ERP traceability systems and secured authoritative SGS dual compliance certifications, establishing a fully audited platform built to serve the global market.
